schnittstelle – IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hbf Süd, 2019

In colaboration with Maren Katerbau for the IntercityHotel Frankfurt Main Station.
The colour and black-and-white photographs by Maren Katerbau and Lukas Heibges offer a highly idiosyncratic view of the Frankfurt main station through two deeply contrasting perspectives.
In dialogue with one another, they take the viewer on a tour whose temporal and spatial dimensions are called into question. This does not only create an equivalence between the present and the past, but also refers to a third momentum – the momentum of future. This photographic interaction ultimately allows the viewer insight into a space that is capable to withdraw from the actual location, striving to discover a universal character outside of space and time.
